Well you know you had a great and extended day when you wake up physically exhausted the following one. It was adventurous and it was good. For me it's waking up to unfinished chocolate milk from a spontaneous late night trip to Wendy's and a nearly almost finished slice of fudge from Bass Pro Shops left out beside my bed.
At 6:15 my alarm went off and although I'm not nearly a morning person, I was rested and ready for this one. It started with creepishly taking pictures of my boyfriend helping some random guy push his car up to the gas station. I still find it attractive when witnessing his random acts of kindness. He's the one with the tight pants on the left hahahaha.
After a meeting with the School of Worship staff we began our first day back at Costa Mesa. I embrassed the long hugs and excitement from the students who were happy to be back from winter break, also finding myself in a tight hug from Pastor John Hwang. He is my favorite. If you sat in a study of his and told me you didn't get anything out of it, you would be a first.
Then we had lunch at Ruby's to celebrate their anniversary and a fine cheeseburger for only THREE DOLLARS.
Nothing compares to sitting down and talking with my love.
We came out so full we could barely handle walking the mall. We made it all the way to Tiffany's to exchange my ring for a smaller size feeling super in classy with our Ruby's leftovers and my chipped nail polish. I always feel like I don't belong in any fancy place that exists. You know I'll be the girl who trips in her heels or gets food on her face or anything embracing like that. So it's great to find a guy who thinks it's cute...
I guess I'm turning this post into a journal entry. I don't expect anyone to read it so why not?
Next I drove home with Jeanette and we pretty much raced to every white car thinking it was Javi hahaha. We made it home to their and I took a nap, showered and got ready in three hours give or take. I feel home there. Calm. Peaceful. One of my favorite places.
For dinner I tried alligator and deer and my kind of salmon dish. Mmmm.
Dinner and adventuring. Go ahead and assume there was much laughter, bathroom breaks, and gun shopping. Fun fun fun. Also, picture taking per Jeanette's command. (:
I love my family. My soon-to-be family I guess I should say. I'm still breaking out of my shell but they make that easy to do.
One last long car ride with Oscii and Lyss quickly turned into a Wendy's late night stop for all kinds of dairy, Disney Princess music and looking up Big Bear houses we can call our own someday soon. A castle perhaps?
I need to stay on top of my blog entrees. Why do I even have this thing?
